China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security is considering raising the salaries of civil servants -- presumably to catch up with China's GDP growth, according to the Chinese media.

With rampant price rise in 2010, the government is really caring for its employees.

It's a great shame I am only one of thos laobaixing.

Well, civil servants and big revenue merchants hires as many as 25% of the population!

If this JOB BANKS pays the median wages, the demand growth in China is guaranteed!
No other ways to run a country!
Nowadays only idiots still think in "gold standard" days!

But modern complex economies needs lots and lots of accountants, lots and lots of HONESTY, facts, so that people can judge and adjust for the BEST BENEFIT of China!

The world now is 50%:50%
Half the world's population is still agrarian, and do not bother!
The other Half is in the modern financial, production economies!

China is just BACKWARD, and catching up!

Boy!
Get your cheeks up!
Take a deep breath, and march onwards for a BETTER CHINA!

cheerios!
