I ain't no gourmet, never heard of it.

Im a bacon butties and fish n chips working class type.

Mind you America has more than a share of the worlds low-bred porkers, pigging out on monster burgers

St. George:

Soul Food is a cross-section of old black cuisine in America.

They took food scraps and turned them into something of much greater value.

Chitterlings are pig's intestines -- when they are being cooked, you don't want to be anywhere near the smell!

Now you can just be content eating your spotted dick and forget about the rest of the world.

The gibe at fat-ass Americans was not so cute -- probably soda pop is the worst dietary replacement in the modern world; but when brilliant minds such as those that run Berkshires Hathaway supports McDonalds and Coca Cola, you can be sure that the bottom line has no room for ethics.

The toy store is wide-open in the 'free market' and the noveau rich wants to try out all of it and the little emperors are going to get their chance at it all. Why not?

Is there no successful English or German fast food chains? Beneath your culture and all, is it?

I wonder how well German street sausage vendors would do in Beijing? Or an English fish 'n chips street vendor for that matter -- you all could be parked right next to a NY hot d.og street vendor, but ain't none of them either. Not enough cash in the right pockets?

Edit -- it really is annoying to have to go back and straighten out CD;s ridiculous ban on common words, like do.g and s.ell --DUH!
