Iran raps US-style world management

Sat Oct 9, 2010

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani says the US style management of the world has brought about nothing but bloodshed and insecurity.

“During the recent years, Americans have seriously pursued the unified global theory of management under various pretexts. It resulted in wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, aggravated the situation in Palestine and left more than thousands of people killed or injured,” Larijani said during a speech at the Armenian National University on Saturday.

He said that such theory was no longer acceptable as it failed to eradicate terrorism or bring back security to the region.

The senior Iranian official added that the Middle East did not need the interference of foreign countries to establish peace and security.

the same people -- the english and anglos -- who asked for globalisation are printing money

the same people-the english and anglos-who asked for globalisation are printing money to rob the saver and prudent nations of its savings and reduce teh debt of parasite anglos. the same people who asked the rest of world to accumulate foreign reserve and accept globalisation are now trying to cheat the debtor nations of their hard earned money -the same tactics the british and angloamericans bastards have always used.this time piracy of currency.

CREDIT BUBBLE BULLETIN
The US policy dilemma
Commentary and weekly watch by Doug Noland

Martin Wolf penned an interesting piece in Wednesday's Financial Times titled "Why America is going to win the global currency battle". The title was provocative, with the world now keenly focused on global competitive monetization and so-called "currency wars". If things somehow go right, perhaps there will be some relative winners. There will be no real winners. We Americans will lose.--

would like to focus on a particular line of reasoning in Wolf's analysis: "To put it crudely, the US wants to inflate the rest of the world, while the latter is trying to deflate the US. The US must win, since it has infinite ammunition: there is no limit to the dollars the Federal Reserve can create. What needs to be discussed is the terms of the world's surrender: the needed changes in nominal and domestic policies around the world ... China wants to impose a deflationary adjustment on the US, just as Germany is doing to Greece. This is not going to happen. Nor would it be in China's interest if it did. As a creditor, it would enjoy an increase in the real value of its claims on the US. But US deflation would threaten a world slump."

First of all, it would be more accurate to say that the US wants to continue inflating the rest of the world. Some years ago, unconstrained finance and US credit bubble dynamics were unleashed upon the world. Much of the globe succumbed to a massive inflation of credit, asset prices, speculative excess, malinvestment, and intractable financial and economic imbalances. Going all the way back to the '80s, US "twin deficits" played an instrumental role in fomenting Japan's inflationary bubble. The Japanese were repeatedly "encouraged" to loosen credit and stimulate domestic consumption as a means of rectifying US trade imbalances. The consequences were calamitous for Japan, while the US was allowed to inflate its way out of immediate trouble.

China surely doesn't "want to impose a deflationary adjustment on the US". Nor do I believe it is a case of Germany imposing deflation on Greece.==

They kept Bolivia back

'Bolivia will defeat imperialism soon'

Bolivian President Evo Morales
Bolivian President Evo Morales says his country will eradicate imperialism in South American region soon with the assistance of revolutionary countries.

"Imperialism dominated our country in all economic and human fields for years, but at the beginning of my presidency I tried to make fundamental changes and nationalize gas and oil for the interest of my nation," visiting Bolivian president told Iranian lawmakers on Wednesday morning.

Addressing Iranian lawmakers in the open session of the Majlis (Parliament), Morales downplayed the US coup attempts in Bolivia, noting that Washington's efforts to overthrow the elected Bolivian government in 2008 ended in failure and that the Americans only managed to succeed in their coup attempt against the democratically elected government of Honduras in the past years.

Earlier on Tuesday, in his meeting with the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Morales called for closer ties among independent and revolutionary countries, saying that strong relations between Iran, Bolivia and other nations can weaken global imperialism.

The Bolivian president hailed the recent movements in his country, which he said have contributed to the establishment of peace and freedom in Bolivia.

"In the history of Latin America, Bolivian people were always under pressure and were slaughtered, but in recent years we have had noticeable movements for the freedom, peace and support of our nation," Morales added.

The Bolivian president touched upon Iran's supports for the Bolivian people and government and said," We are in need of Iran's cooperation in all fields."

The Bolivian chief executive, who arrived in Tehran for a three-day-visit late Sunday, characterized Iran as a great industrial state that has been victorious in its resistance against the United States.

Morales' visit to Iran is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and seeking more Iranian investment in the South American country. During his meetings with Iranian officials, Morales invited Iran to establish a stronger presence in Bolivia.
