In modern universities, in higher income states

.....where broadband is very fast and stable, university, even secondary students needs lap tops to ACCESS digital library.

So, we do expect laptops to be in big "solid demand" in the future!
In a way, it replaces normal paper printed books, especially "reference books".

I have seen NEW AGE LIBRARY in our universities, just a computer server, data storage!
Student access via password, and have a whole gamut of books to read!
that means - beside school fees, a lap top (worth Rmb3,000 is a needed tool for students!)

ACER, LENOVO could just be the biggest lap top suppliers by 2030!

cheerios!

It's always wiser to split MANUFACTURING and RETAIL into two entities!

it's more efficient!
first it's the problem of WORK CULTURE, retail workers normally are paid higher than assembly workers!
and retailers has different set of problems, compared to manufacturers!
It's not as easy as mindset is quite different!

one is mechandizing, the other is producing MORE on less COST!

quite a big contrast!

cheerios!

Foxconn is not the only company which has its own retail buz. This is also common over here and I believe in the RoK as well.

How can South Western provinces, Central Region provinces

..........with only 2,000tonnes to 20,000 tonnes transport compete with the low cost, easy to access sea going shipping (20,000 to 500,000 tonnes ships) and foreign source of markets, commodities, even energy supplies!

Now the Yangtze Riverine transport is pretty JAMMED UP. Probably need to build more FREIGHT RAIL, scale distribution centres to improve situation. Domestic wage increase could help in regional industrial centres such as Wuhan, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Changchun etc.

Watch out for "rabble rousers" who makes us all dumb!
