......MAYBE some super cheap fast CARGO MOVEMENT system?

and creation of "critical clusters" that would make INLAND provinces more competitive in export industry.
otherwise it's just DOMESTIC CONSUMPTION that would be critical in Inland, Southwestern provinces development!
we could "cheat", and inflate GNP figures by having COSTLIER homes, cars, medical care, education than the COASTAL REGION, here is the "question mark"!

Foxconn to also set up bases in Hunan Province

Foxconn Technology Group, one of the world's largest manufacturers of electronic products, has inked a cooperation agreement with the Hunan Municipal Government to set up production and research & development bases in Changsha and Hengyang, Hunan Province, sources reported.

Pursuant to the agreement, the new bases will be engaged in the hardware manufacturing, software development, network convergence, the R&D, production and sale of the company's new products. Foxconn also plans to move its upstream and downstream factories to the province.

Reportedly, the local government of Changsha and Hengyang will launch preferential policies for Foxconn.

Apple products, one of the company's core contract businesses, will be produced in the bases located in Zhengzhou, Henan Province and Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. Foxconn's desktop computers will be mainly produced in its Wuhan plant.
