I have heard that the USA is actually behind the overthrow of Mr. Thaksin in Thailand and paid the Thai military to take over the country while Mr. Thaksin was away. This sounds exactly like a typical American operation. They say that Mr. Thaksin was getting too close to the Chinese govt, and the Americans wanted to destroy the Chinese influence in Thailand by making it another U.S. puppet state.
