This is kind of amusing, another thread about Chinese behavior in Shanghai.

And I must remember not to write too much as it may be gone tomorrow.

I live in China and the average Chinese do break every law they can.

Whether driving, walking, queuing or even just personal space or manners.

They push and shove, hack, spit, shout, and their kids p1ss anywhere.

In other people’s standards they are very loutish.

But it is one thing to state it.

Why is it a problem to you?
Please state this clearly as it is very subjective at the moment.

And what do you think should China do to stop this perceived bad behaviour?

It is not a problem to talk about it. Their t.v. programmes and newspapers also criticises bad manners and bad cultures occasionally.

The problem may lie with the person who say it: foreigners. They may perceive it as an attack on their nationalism

Thanks: but what about these ideas.

What should China do about it.

Or do the people who complain do just that.

Do they have any suggestions how Chinese society can be changed to suit visitors?

Alex

The thread I was in was stabbings and suicides.

So suicides would seem to be not politik at the moment.
