Government bonds for example.....you can buy them too. What is really sick at the moment is that Germany takes credits to give Greece credits....although the interest rates are different.^^

I find it funny that America borrows money from China to put US bases in Japan/Korea to counter China.  My parents pay A LOT of taxes in America, they don't deserve to have it being wasted.

The US bases in Japan and Korea are there for other reasons than counter China.Although you won`t understand it. The US bases in Korea are for protecting South Korea and keeping the status quo. There is still no peace treaty between NK and SK. The bases in Japan are there because Japan lost the war and the US as the victor had the "right" to keep bases there. While now the bases are also there to keep the "balance" in the Asia-Pacific area. You shouldn`t forget the historic process that lead to the establishment of these bases. Why do you always think it is against China,China,China. The bases were there before China became a "threat" if you want to call it so.

The US bases are there to ensure American dominance in the Asian Pacific region (although I think it is none of their business to police asia).  And every news article I read about Japanese wanting the US bases out, the media has to mention the "threat of China".  THEY are the one's using China as an excuse to leave their bases in Asia.

Here is a great quote I found:
In the end this base, like so many others around the world, is all about OUR interests in the region and extending OUR power abroad. This base has NOTHING to do with protecting anyone there whatsoever. I really get a kick out of people who say things like "they need us" and that we're "protecting them". You people are idiots. You're also the same people who love to say "just nuke them" as if massive amounts of radiation circling the globe won't reach your sorry a$$es too. Like I said... idiots.

There are innumerable countries all over the globe in daily threat from their neighbors, internal military uprisings, terrorism and much more - we don't give a lick about any of them. YOU don't hear about them and YOU don't care about them. And you probably couldn't find them on a map even if you had. The ONLY reason people know about this particular matter is that we fought a battle there during our largest wargasm (WW2) and that we have a base there that has historically helped us extend our military power in the region. You know against those "commies"... Basically, that's it. Otherwise we wouldn't care about them either. You hear any stink about Truk, or Palau or hell even Guadalcanal? Nope. We don't need them. It's little different than situation in Kyrgyzstan - we don't care about that nation OR it's people, we care because we want it so we can fly airstrikes from there to hit Afghanistan and potentially Iran. That place doesn't give us our WW2 viagra fix so it's a little more off the radar but it still fits the mold. The people there are meaningless to us. The government running the place is meaningless to us - so long as they let us keep our base there running, it's all good.

If it really does "hit the fan" then send a carrier group... bomb a place to dust if you need to and leave. Seems pretty. Just stop pretending we're "helping other people out" by doing this stuff. We're not. In fact in the end we're probably not even helping ourselves.

It is also not your business, or that of China to decide whether other nations prefer an US presence in the Asian area. Japan,South Korea and Taiwan do.
Protests against this or that occure everywhere. But the majority of Japanese and what is more important the government want them to stay out of security reasons. I know you dream of Asian unity etc. but reality looks different. Many Asian countries don`t want to be "united" with China. Not because of US propaganda but out of very own experiences with China. Take Vietnam for example....they had some "nice" experiences with China 1979 and again 1984. South Korea the same....they won`t forget China stood and still stands aside of the North Koreans. Japan, well, we all know Japan has nothing nice to expect from China. Just ask arround among netizens on Chinese forums(in Chinese) how much they like Japan. Revenge is what Japan fears, and those fears are real.
