BEIJING: Two Chinese production units contracted by global giant Microsoft have been found guilty of violating labour laws and have been given a week to rectify their "illegal practices".

The companies have been accused of illegal and inhuman working conditions and if they do not change their work practices to comply with the law, they will face administrative penalties, state-run China Daily quoted authorities as saying.

They should, but here's where the problems could lie.  In the US, we have a lot of labor laws that restricts companies.  It's made the american worker 'too expensive' and effectively, we pricedourselves out of the market when it comes to global competition.  If you can pay someone a $1 an hour in another country - they will do it.   So the money and jobs just leave and go elsewhere where these companies can find 'better deals'.  So, two things are needed - one better labor laws, and two more restrictions and penalties on companies that contract with sweatshops.
We have been trying to put more restrictions on US companies and how they operate abroad.  Something has to be done.

The cost of labor is different from country to country mainly due to the standard of living of each country. However though, when the country's labor cost is cheap does not mean that it can be exploited. Labor laws of each country are different but must be adhered to by companies operating there.

So, what do you like to be called now? A RUNNING DOG or TRAITOR? Either name, you are a low lying sewage maggot and a spineless scum bag! Or you would prefer what your masters call you? B--- LICKER?
