Boy!

I think the Pakistani earns the most with military aid!
Imagine a military budget of US$21 billion, while tax/non tax revenue was approximately US$40 billion estimated in 2009. Total budgetary outlay is US$75 billion!!!!! Defisit spending and aid is HUGE!

It will pissed off the INDIAN EMPIRE.
Goodness gracious, India is already spending US$40 billion a year, mostly imported hardware with the world's 4th or 5th strongest miitary on paper!!!!! India tax/non tax revenue is only US$150 billion on a GNP of US$1,100 billion! That's a lot of taxes used on the military and a big defisit fulfilled probably by minting and bond issues!

That's really "turning on the pressure"!

Crazy arm race in South Asia!

Pakistan's Gwadar base is crucial to influence the Hormuz Straits!

and India is not so happy to have naval bases in Gwandar, Pakistan and Sittwe, Myanmar.

is there also a base in Sri Lanka?

I haven't heard of this plan since two years (at least). Is it really still up to date?

Where U R right, U R right. More than 1,600km in 8 hours is indeed a high speed rail link. This is quite a challenge in the terrain of Western Sichuan.

Is it really safe or cheap to have a train running at high speed up a mountain?
