I have seen 2 hours ago an older women with two small dogs crossing the street.

I thought instantly of this fabulous one-dog-policy in Guangzhou.

What will this women do now ?
Will she surrender one of the dogs to the authority for "execution" ?
Will she throw a dice or a coin to find out which one has to go ?
Will she hide one dog - or go out on the street alternately ?
Will she bring her two dogs to the hairdresser and make them look-alike ?
Will she ask a friend to "formally" become the owner of the other one and she will go on as "caretaker" ?
Will she like the government for it's lonesome decision ?
Will she hate the government ?

Will she vote at the next election opportunity for the opposition party in China (I have learned from a clever member that there are more parties to choose from than the CCP only) ?

What advice would you give to her if that old lady would be your mother ?
