On 'GPS' Fareed Zakaria interviewed the Dalai Lama. In brief:

The Dalai Lama was contradictory as usual.

First he insisted that he only aims for 'meaningful autonomy'.
When asked by F. Z. if he really wants to regain the regions/provinces of Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu and huge parts of Sichuan and Yunnan he became a bit angry and insisted that all areas where Tibetan people live or Tibetan language is spoken MUST be returned to Tibet. He said that he considers himself to be a socialist (he forgot to add NATIONAL ). He said that he can live with a one party system as long as it serves his purpose (is serving his people), ohhh, ohhh.  He also said that he believes that in his lifetime he'll come back to Tibet but at the same time he insisted that his reincarnation is born, as he stated it, in the "free" world.

Even poor Zacharia sometimes looked at him in disbelief. In total, nothing new, the usual verbiage against China etc. etc.

satsu,

DL said he wants not just Tibet but 5 neighboring Chinese provinces as well. Fareed was shocked. Then DL said he is a Marxist!

Organized religion... of course it's not good.

Unless they organized people just for charity, relief worker etc etc.

But we see DL's organization has the world's nastiest terrorist organization behind him, CIA.

My concern with your views here are not based on the DL himself, but on your never-ending 'crusade' against any from of organised religion - you never will give them (organised religions) a balanced report, will you?

Believe it or not, basically I have nothing against religions as long as they do what they're supposed to do, preach to the faithful, abstain from interference in non religious matters (politics), respect existing laws, abstain from  proselytizing and polarizing people.  There are enough examples that show that this is possible. Yes, I'm atheist and proud of it but I'm not on a crusade as long as the minimum requirements (see above) are observed.

As for the D.  L., imho he is a political agitator, a guy who wants to run Central Asia with a racist agenda, he is far from being a spiritual leader and a peaceful person. Everybody is free to see him as a savior, a holy man, a dangerous separatist or a puppet on the string.

It is tragically and farcically ironic that a poster of presumably German origin is adding the word 'national' to an epithet chosen by an interviewee to construe a monster word that history has, we ...

seneka often caught in hysteria, especially when he can't defend his idol DL using sound argument.

So he resort to cursing and scorning, his special capability.

But, what's new?
