“I’d rather be President Hu than President Obama,” Jim Owens, chief executive of Caterpillar (CAT), told a Council on Foreign Relations gathering in Washington, D.C., Thursday, referring to China’s Hu Jintao.

Hu’s task is to tell the thrifty Chinese people: “Enjoy a little more.” The Chinese, Owens said, need to save less and spend more so their country imports more. In contrast, Obama “is going to have to encourage Americans to save more” - once the current recession is over, of course.

Hard to say. Barring pandemics and extremist threats, which both are equally susceptible to having to deal with.

The difficulties President Obama faces are many, but on the whole they are known tangibles. President Obama will be known as a good president or a bad one, but he probably won't be known as "the man who made the new America".

President Hu is leading during a time, when China is facing a future with many paths to choose from. Though I think cautious progress has worked and is the safest way forward........ ocean travellers must always be wary of storms, especially so when the skies appear clear.

This is about the task to be done.
The position of Obama is pretty unconfortable. After a decade of Bush, he does have a tough job.
From this point of view, you better be Hu...

Hu is a person of virtual and moral. This kind of truthful person will never go to the top through democratic election. Democracy is the worst system where money, religion and hatred talk.
