After graduating from a college, I started my career in a state-owned steel company. Unfortunately, the financial crisis had a strong impact on the steel industry. The company has taken a cut of our wage which was low enough for surviving. I'm freaking out~how about you? Is there anybody unlucky like me?

3ks I feel a little frustrated because of  facing such a truth as soon as I came into the world. I expect the financial crisis ends as soon as possible. Those who are affected by it can pick up the threads of the old life, even a better tomorrow.

Employment in the Forestry and auto industries in Canada is as bad as you can imagine

Many people are laid off

Plants closed

Operations are shutting down for weeks or months

You need to tough it out

Don't get discouraged

When the auto industry gets back on it's feet

Steel industry will also be recovered

Hang in there if you can....

Wage reduction is one way to keep the company afloat in tough time

It is a better alternative than shutting down the whole operation!

Hope is in the air!

Good luck in your career

Better days will come...

The making of people's inner strength is like making steel

And needless for me to say more

I assume that you know the steel business much better than I do!    :)

I hope no union bosses are around

If they see my statements

Not only I would be torched

They would try to run me out of town

Is the stated-owned steel company in China unionized?

If not, then I am safe!      :)
