Need more information as to how you are using "get off".
Do you mean "get off" the bus?
"Get off" the subject?
Etc.......

I know an American slang that help you: Let's call it a day !
After a long weary day's labour and you just want to stop immediately ,you can say that.

I see that you have changed it to "get off work"?
Does that mean you want more colloquial ways of saying this? For example:
"it's quitting time"
"it's beer o'clock"
"let's punch out"
"it's beer-thirty"
"bail out time"
"punch the clock"
"hit the road"
"go home"
"that's it, lets go" ("that's it" is often used before any one of these).
"we're outta here"
"its Friday!" (said on a Friday afternoon in America as the average worker is off work on Saturday and Sunday).
"it's the weekend" (also said on a Friday for the same reason as above).

There are many more but they start to get into localized slang, for example:
"time for game mode" (as opposed to work mode...comes from tech types)
"it's Aloha Friday" (used in Hawaii to mean the weekend, but is known elsewhere).
