Almost as bad as DW?  DW, the shame of Germany and you dare to lecture Chinese about their media? German media - or no f r e e  speech for Chinese. Nothing to say about it? Something is wrong with you, just admit it. Maybe I later post some replies from the DW thread on CD newspaper.

I can tell you that many Chinese are not sharing your opinion here in this forum. Many simply have no chance to voice out. They cannot even pee in the so-called protest areas, because your gove ...

I give you a voice from an American(?) poster on the CD newspaper forum. His name is Richard:

At the tragic edge of niave, gullible young minds so almost all-embracing of movie-like beauties captivating of western civilisation's deomocracy and freedom of speech etc, I have this little cavaet for all to pause and think again. Democracy does not have the solutions of peaceful, and stable societies. Just look at the begging on the streets, drug infestation and abuse among the young, homelessness, unemployment, street violence and living hand to mouth from welfare in great wonder democracies like US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Australia etc. It is not much fun or carnival of rowdy street demonstrations. The pageantry of such freedom of speech is a few hours of mental exertion of right to protest, the misery of poverty remains the sober truth to haunt daily existence. In any case, freedom of speech is a nice movie but unreal. Just google Daniel Ellsberg Pentagon papers - this political activist exposed how generations (not just one) of American Presidents deceived Congress, US public and the world and we witnessed the horror of Vietnam War which still traumatised American society for generations since. For all his exercise of the so-called "freedom of speech" under the First Amendment of the US Constitution so proudly portrayed by its Statute of Liberty. Daniel Ellsberg was sent to long imprisonment. His charge of treason actually carried a maximum sentence of 115 years - a lot more than longevity of a healthy human being. Look at how hard the media also tried to pry open the cabinet discussion of why and how Blair pushed Britain into the Iraq War over alleged Weapons of Mass Destuction when the truth reveal it was Iraqi oil they are after. The British Government suppressed it ironically under exemptions in the law called "Freedom of Information" legislation and the courts could do nothing. Anyone leaked it will also go to jail.

THERE IS NO SUCH A THING AS FREEDOM OF SPEECH ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. It really exists in the mouth of hypocrites who seek to bully those who do not obey their will of the enforcers, just like bonded slaves.

Beware of the Prophets of Democracy - they lie with a big smile and a hidden agenda.
