Of which I'm proud to be one!
#30, if you can provide me validated and authentic evidence of this phrase being used before I wrote it, then I'd be guilty of thinking the same thing as someone before me, however, I just thought of it. knowing you and your gang, you'll cook something up however.

Prove it! If I truly believed it wasn't original, I would've attributed it and used parenthesis to indicate a quote.

As much as I hate to admit it, you're right! I just googled it and I'm sorry folks, I truly thought it was original!

Progress recycles adversity into opportunity. TM

First coined by Chinese from the word CRISIS

While I agree there are plenty of examples to be found by googling, I think you are doing a Gavin Menzies interpretation on the subject.

The Chinese ideogram for "crisis" is made up of two characters signifying "opportunity" and "danger."

The word for danger is ''wei xian'' and opportunity is ''ji huay''.

The fact that ''wei ji ''(crisis) contains elements of both terms is coincidental just as in English multiply and multifunctional aren't synonymous even though they share a prefix
(mostly harmless)
