It also appears that if you have made a post then that post cannot be eddited if it contains a sensitive word or if you wish to subsequently include the naughty word.

But, as everybody knows, the way round the system is to misspell the word and produce a word which isn't in the filter's dictionary but is visably recognisable to say precisely the same thing.

So who was the genius who worked out that applying a filter was going to solve the problem?

As I said elsewhere, we are just garden gnomes, here to brighten things and we have been successful obviously since money was spent to participate in the Google Ad Words program.

Other than  ...

Now I understand why it takes so long to cross the road in the UK when the majority would answer ''no'' and the ones who would say ''yes'' are obviously too thick to understand the question.

Perhaps, since the author of the thread - and who actually wrote it himself - is in Ol' Blighty this very minute; to have a look see and let us know if such signs do exist?

I wonder though, if the responses are then used as sort of a yardstick by which the Dept. of Urban Research in Whitehall, calculates public opinion?

Canchin's post (and photo) #15

Some wag has gone to the trouble of printing and posting stickers like that.

I have never seen such a sign and I am 99% certain that there is no such Government Department. The UK government takes the attitude that ''You elected us to do your thinking for you so we don't care what you think!''.

However, it could be a good method of stress relief though if they had provided a ''NO'' button to push.

It's a pedestrian crossing button.
Someone's just stuck their "survey" thing on top.

Brilliant work, I say.
