My English is ok, but I find it's difficult to make improvement, even a little, when you are far beyond 'Taking basic English.' Anyone has suggestions?

Maybe to enlarge vacabulary?
enhance hearing?
.......

What to do?

You must be a person who seek perfectness all the time.  What kind of progress you want to obtain?

You speak and write like an English native speaker? Is that your final destination? Impossible~

English is just a tool , just tool........ Once, someone told me that one person had  the good mastery of English vocabulary, he went abroad and speak with the  foreigner by using GRE words, you can imagine what happened.

Sinfulgirl, what would you advise someone who's trying to learn your own native language, Chinese?

Write down your suggestions for the above question. And then follow them yourself, replacing the word "Chinese" with "English" everywhere.

Moral: We usually have the answers to our questions regarding "how". But the real problem is not "how". It is "why"; the WILL to do it. Every motivational speaker will tell you this.

If you have the right motivation (that is, WHY you want to do something and what you think you'll get out of it), you will definitely find a way to do it. You just need the WILL to do it.

Where there's a will, there's a way. So, work on your motivation first. Everything else follows automatically.
