E-C: how to translate "five quarter hours of credit"

In the three 11-week term, classes for five quarter hours of credit meet four full hours per week, and laboratore courses meet five full hours per week. Classes meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays for one hour total time scheduled for laboratories. Courses for less than five-quarter hours meet for fewer hours per week.
My translation: 以11周为一个学季的三个学季中，四分之五小时学分时的课要达到每周整四个小时。实验课要达到每周整五个小时。每周一，二，五要安排整整一个小时的实验。每次不足四分之五小时的课程每周上的时间少些。

In the US Some colleges and universities use the quarter system.
A quarter (three-month term) lasts between 8 and 12 weeks, and there are typically four per year.

1 quarter unit = .67 semester unit.
3 quarter units = 2.01 semester units

a quarter hour of credit= 1/4 credit hour 四分之一学时
4 quarter hours of credit= 1 credit hour . 一学时
5 quarter hours of credit= 5/4 credit hour .(or just credit) 1 1/4个学时（或学分）

(1)对于1 1/4学分的课程，每周要上满四小时课
(2)对于1 1/4学分的实验课程，每周要上满五个小时的课
(3)每周周一、周二和周五做实验的时间总共要达到一小时。
对于不到1 1/4学分的课程每周上课时间则没有那么多。

我怀疑：（带）实验课程=一般课程+做实验，这样的话(2)=(1)+(3) 也就说的通了。
