Distract your mind from the thing that makes you angry by
1. go to fix a cup of something to refresh yourself or
2. look out the window to watch how the sky changes or traffic/people changing
3. take deep breaths
4. smell something refreshing like flower or perfume
5. If possible, take a walk listening to music on the way

that depend on your axiology,when somethings or someone enrage you,just don't go on the way that the man hope you to.Think about the problem is it the point that you think a lot of,if not ,so you can achieve fotgetting it.

takes practice but its not an impossible task... the solution is to keep the ego in check

first thing is to understand the root cause of anger

and surely enough, if you look deep inside, you will see that anger is caused when the ego is shaken and offended

ego is always looking for trouble

you know why?

because ego thrives on "attention"

and when nobody pays attention to you... the ego feels hungry

Who is making me miserable?
Who is the cause of my anger?
Who is the cause of my anguish?

and if you look outside you will miss it
just close the eyes and look within
the source of all misery, anger, anguish, is hidden in you, your ego

the false center within us

so, you now grasp where the anguish lies...  next step is to read this article written by Osho
