Many prospective postgraduates prayed to Buddha for the pass of the postgraduate entrance exam in temples. These candidates and even their parents kowtowed reverently to the figure of Buddha although most of them are not Buddhists. According to their theories, they just did whatever they can to ease the strains and only "Buddha" can decide the results.

We cannot say that they are not hard-working, they have tried their best to attain a relatively good score. Yet, they may not solely trust their endeavor and have to look for other guarantees. Do you think they are ridiculous or you can understand them?

Wow

I have to admit that I have been in a temple to pray to Buddha for the offer of a London university two years ago. Although I knew that the success depened on my efforts not Buddha, I still wished to do sth. more to make sure that I could get the offer. Finally, I received it, went to the UK, and now, I have been back in China and working in a company. I don't want to say whether my bahavior was right or wrong, cuz it's very hard to tell...
I am a Beijing girl.

They are praying so that their internal Buddha

guides them the way.

It is a sort of release.......

Afterall, Buddha says u must do the hard work.

I merely show the way.......
What's on your mind now........ooooooooooooooo la la....Kind Regards
