Is the Chinese Media Biased?

Discuss.

Gee tek!

I haven't been around for many, many months and I return and find you are still asking questions to which you already know the answer...and that you know would have the same answer regardless of the ethnic/nationality inclusion you used, such as "Is the American Media Biased?" "Is the British Media Biased?" "Is the Bulgarian Media Biased?" "Is the Hong Kong Media Biased?"

Still trying to stir things up I see. The only reason to ask such an inane question must be to try and bring out the anti-China trolls...as witness the very first reply to your thread.

Anyway, hope your Christmas in China wasn't a problem for you. Good thing that next year you will be back in a place where the media is not biased...and I hope you will let us know where this Shangri-la is.

I would not doubt that the CIA are capable of anything. They have no morals whatsoever.
The end always justifies the means.

But isn't tht your exact argument for justifying the rule of the CCP? Namely you constantly mention that the CHinese leaders and the Chinese people ingeneral are so "pragmatic" and have no overriding idealistic concept (ie communism, socialism, democracy, etcf) but do whatever it takes to achieve their goals, which to your mind is the increased prosperity of CHinese society. Political pragmatism is essentially "the ends justify the means." This also known as Realpolitik, btw. AQnyways, that's the argument that you always use when ever people drone on about the need for representitive democracy and the failings of communism. that in China, sure there are some represed dissenters and human rights abuses, and the government has no public accountability, but people are getting more prosperous and "the ends justify the means."
(ps this post was directly funded by the CIA. Sh!t, now I've gone and blown my cover)

Western media is biased from multiple angles; Chinese media from one.  Does that still get me a %$@#$%ing?
