Gosh. You can't make me choose between the two, you can't!

I love coffee, any kind of coffee in any incarnation. With sugar or without, with milk or without. Espressos, Mochas, Lattes, Cappucinoes.... the list goes on. Sometimes I love the smell of coffee more than the taste. And it never keeps me awake.

I also love tea. Tea from any country. Chinese tea? There are so many kinds! Jasmine tea is my absolute favourite. British tea is also excellent, even though I've only ever had teabags. Japanese tea (i.e. green tea) smells heavenly, and tastes great by itself or with those little sugar cluster things. Chai- which I think is from India- is also my drink of preference during classes.

I dunno. I grew up in tea societies, but I now live in very much a coffee society. I bet tea and coffee can live in harmony, one day.

proper moments for tea:
when one's heart and hands are idle.
when one's thoughts are disturbed.
when a song is completed.
palying the qing and looking over paintings.
engaged in conversation deep at night.
before a bright window and a clean desk.
with charming friends and slender concubines.
when the day is clear and the breeze is mild.
on a day of light showers.
in a painted boat near a small wooden birdge.
in a forest with tall bamboos.
having lighted incense in a small studio.
in a quiet, secluded temple.
near famous springs and quaint rocks.
