压力部件的应力不应考虑衬里、包覆层及堆焊层的厚度的作用.

个人觉得, 衬里、包覆层及堆焊层的厚度肯定会增加对抗压力有所作用, 只不过所起的作用很小很小罢了, 所以在设计/制作等压力部件的时候, 对衬里、包覆层及堆焊层的厚度忽略不计了.

原译文应该是可以的, 因为"衬里、包覆层及堆焊层的厚度对应力的贡献"是可以忽略不计的.
但是严格地讲是不准确的. 所以最好重新组织一下.
不一定一一对应地翻译原文, 科技翻译最重要的应该是表达原文想要表达的意思.
衬里、包覆层及堆焊层的厚度不应认为对增加压力部件的应力有多大作用/贡献.
