只许...........不许(c-e)

只许州官放火，不许百姓点灯.


我认为是不是有重复,既然"只许"那么就没有其它的选择，但也许是不是为了对比来强调?
英文里如何处理这种情况的?

我觉得在具体的话中才有具体的翻译吧..

"只许成功不许失败. "

个人觉得可以这样翻译:
1)Failure is not allowed.
2)Only success no failure.
3)No failure!
4)Only success!
