The number may leak boasting inner of Chinese Gov; actual improvement for living could also be spotted so far you are in China. Far or near, less or more, there are signs of improvement everyway.

I got these words from an Reuters' article. And also the increasing gap between the rich and the poor. China is in a really awkard situation.

According to the IMF projection

China's real GDP growth is expected to be 9% in 2005.

Why would an estimate of 9.4% be considered so unrealistic?
