Wow, you can look so far into the future. Not even an attempt to address any of the problems. No attempt to introspect to see why you have this insatiable need to be No. 1, either.

What will you do when it doesn't come true? And let's face it. There are 200 countries in the world. Saying that China WILL be no. 1 is like saying that X tennis player WILL win Wibmbledon ten years down the track.

Who knows what will happen in the future? If you set yourself up as the inevitable winner of the marathon race and start announcing it to the rest of the world when you are only at the half-way mark, you really are setting yourself up for a hard fall.

China has been saying this for years. In the 1950's the Chinese were boasting they would rule the world, after a little economic success bloated theor egos. The great famines of the late '50s and '60s were in large part due to a collective delusion by China's leaders and its people. The result: massive suffering and around 50 million very thin and very dead chinese corpses. But of course the authorities tried to cover it all up, and still do. Lies, denial, boasts and arrogance are not what build great nations. The fact that you have this thread here when there are still nearly 300 million Chinese living in abject poverty (Asia Development Bank figures, not CC P propaganda) indicates that the next fall is not far off.

The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) surveyed 1,656 executives in over 100 countries and reported one of the key findings: China’s economy which measured at purchasing power parity exchange rates, will be on par with the United States by 2020, and it will have the second largest consumer market and the largest tech sector.
