These contracts will be based on Australian Conditions of Contract, modified where appropriate.

"Conditions of Contract" are capitalized.  Guess it is a established term.

Australian Conditions of Contract:  I think it  is referred to legal clauses and conditions  of contract , stressing Australian law which maybe is similar to China Contract Law.
And conditions of contract needn't to be capitalized the first letters of each word without the adj of " Australian"
