Most people seem to have no idea what Irish people are or where they come from. Usually they talk among themselves and say as they have never heard of it, it must be poor, lol.

then they all refer to me as the American because i have blondish hair..........

any1 who knows says we r the same as the English, hardly flattering as im a Northern Irish Catholic...........................

So whats ur impressions of Ireland?

PS - we r not 1 of the 8 old enemies.............but former victims of colonialism. We lost over half our population under British rule.
