固然有些事情是易行而难料的,但若过分地强调这一点,则有可能养成一种“做了再说”或“船到桥头自然直!”的侥幸心理。试问:房子燃烧的紧要关头,消防队员是否应立刻拿起水龙头或灭火筒进行抢救,还是应花费少许时间判别风向、寻找火源、分派工作,然后再进行抢救?

It is true that sometimes things are actually easy to do, but unpredictable.  But if you emphasize too much on this, you may have a kind of lucky mentality of “Just do it!” or “Things will automatically get straight!”  Let me ask you a question.  When the house is on fire, should the firefighters take up the hoses or XXX and directly rush to the rescue, or should he spend sometime figuring out the direction of the wind, find the source of fire, allocate jobs, and then come to the rescue?
