It's HOT in CHINA... and each summer, Chinese men roll up their t-shirts over their bellies. Why? Because it's freaking hot.

This move is called the Beijing Bikini... and now, these Chinese government officials in this one city are cracking down on this because, we guess, it's seen as unseemly.

Guess they don't like the "dad bod...."

Jinan, a city of close to 9 million in China, issued an edict telling the public to keep their shirts on when in public. It's been ridiculously hot in China lately and these men needed and wanted to cool off!

What do you guys think of this measure? Should the practice of men rolling up their shirts be banned?

Such a practice is a remnant of China's decadent past, not in keeping with modern China, a superpower and the world's second largest economy!

"Chinese men roll up their t-shirts over their bellies. Why? Because it's freaking hot."

No excuse, many people live in even hotter clime, many in deserts and they don't roll up their shirts and expose their ugly breasts and bellies.  And btw, many Chinese men don't even wear any shirt at all in public!!  So, saying "they roll up their shirts" is wrong to start with!!  They don't respect other members of the community who value decency.  It is no different from commuters putting their legs up on subway train seats, which many condemn as uncivilised and rude!
