Have to disagree with you on that.
I believe greed stems from the system we live and grew up in.
Greed is based on both instincts and learning. I'm not very greedy because my parents provided well for me. I think that greed often occurs in people who have not been treated well by their parents. Some people seek the appearance of wealth to compensate for feelings of inferiority.

So why do you blame China for the trade war?
The PRC owns a stake in all the businesses in China. Their mantra was to acquire tech by any means possible. Beg, borrow, or steal. It's the stealing part that I don't like. Not to mention the WTO cheating. Claiming to be a developing country but yet the worlds 2nd largest economy. In the meantime, the world turned a blind eye, thinking its government would change. Now they realize they're not going to change. So now there is no more tolerence for the cheating and stealing. But Beijing likes it just the way it is.
