Perhaps China is a developed developing country. After all, some countries in the socalled advanced-economy West are still developing developed countries.

How else can one explain their leaders could lie with straight faces about WMD, cancel the global save-this-planet climate control movement, encourage international conventional weapons trades, free soldiers and police who had shot dead unarmed men who have surrendered, supported someone who tried to steal a presidency, sanctioned entire nations after after agreements, kidnapped a ceo for deal collateral, blackmailed other countries about unsubstantiable network insecurity, and moved their battleships into others' backyards?

So better remain a developed developing country than one of those hypocritical still-developing developed countries. At least, one gets to keep one's civilization as an increasingly relevant benchmark for all humanity of this most tired world.

No?

We can all see that in the United States there is now a president who thinks and acts as if he is above the law.

He is obviously trying to leave inculpatory evidence for future historians that a political novice like him had dared to tear up almost all the international agreements his predecessors had painstakingly put together to sustain global U.S. hegemony, and no Republicans have so far raised any serious challenges to his impulsive decisions.

You should all understand that what he has done so far is only for testing the waters.

If he is re-elected for a second term, that's when he will enter the Dennis-the-Menace phase of his MAGA delirium-- instead of shredding paper agreements as he is doing during his first term, he will then resort to the use of military force in dealing with China for the simple reason that he will believe by then that the American people have given him the mandate to do the unimaginable thing to thwart China's rise.

He will do so not because of any prodigious military abilities on his part, but precisely because he is totally ignorant of matters like nuclear winters.

He has just removed all restrictions on the NRA to sell offensive weapons to U.S. civilians in the name of protecting their constitutional self-defense rights despite outcries from gunshot victims, which affords ample evidence that he won't hesitate to use nuclear weapons if given the chance.

You should also understand that in the 243 years since July 4, 1776, only during 16 of those years was the U.S. not engaged in a war with a real or imagined foe.  Almost every U.S. president has had a war linked to his name during his tenure in the Oval Office except perhaps in the case of Obama.

So chances are you can bet your tepee Trump is not going to be the courteous exception.

And in view of recently-augmented U.S. military involvement in Taiwan, the island is likely to be the site of the next Sino-U.S. military conflict, not the South China Sea.

Currently China is making an all-out effort to eliminate poverty to set an example for both the developed and undeveloped countries as to what can be done in a short period of time if they sincerely put their minds to it.

China's poverty-elimination campaign, whose completion is scheduled for the end of 2020, will become a watershed event reorienting and pivoting the nation's main thrust towards territorial re-unification.

So it stands to reason that a military confrontation is not a total impossibility should President Trump be re-elected in 2020.

He doesn't have much of a brain to analyze facts on the ground. So he uses his mouth instead to do the explaining, his ears to take in only those points of view that stroke his ego, and his hand to sign sanctions to bully others who don't toe his line. That he has not used his feet as well is because they suffer from bone spurs.

He does all that not just on foreign powers but also on his own countrymen who disagree with him. All because he is fearful of losing the support of his hardlined white-collar supporters who he thinks will only accept he must deliver what he has promised in the campaign even when he didn't know then the facts on the ground which make those promises utterly ludicrous to have been made in the first place for sustainable grounds into the long-term future.

When a new president's first order of the day upon entering the oval office is to sign in an expansion of nukes, one should not be surprised his last order of the day of his term of office could be to sign in an expansion of the medical budget for war casualties.

if he gets the chance, Terry Guo should remind him that.

That's why his real chant is not MAGA, but MTWA (Make Trump Win Again).

Who is Terry Guo?
