The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) is taking place from January 22 to 25 in Davos, Switzerland. The theme this year is "Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution."

But what exactly is Globalization 4.0? Have we already entered this new phase? What challenges are we facing in this new era? some experts think we have already entered the stage of globalization 4.0.but we are already vastly underprepared for it

For example, what are the impacts of artificial intelligence on the labor market? What are the new forms of global governance of regulations on multinational movement and tax havens? How can developing countries and developed countries work together in international institutions like the WTO? How is TPP, and the recently concluded CPTPP, going to impact global trade? Problems related to cyber-security, connectivity of outer space […] (CGTN)

So, do you think we are ready for Globalization 4.0?

I don't now what version of globalization this would be, but perhaps in future humans are no longer educated and trained for single career, but in wide range of professions to answer to demands of constantly changing environment.

A doctor would not be just a doctor anymore, a teacher not just a teacher, and a housewife not just a housewife.

"AI" could determine what a household/town/province/country/world needs on monthly/weekly/daily basis, and assign the best person available for each task. Humans would execute the given tasks 4-8 hours per day, while taking the remainder for rest, creativity and leisure.

Rather than globalizing the countries and corporations, this will globalize and mobilize individuals, while at the same time turning the relationship between robots and humans around. We would now be doing the preprogrammed tasks during our workdays, as assigned by computer algorithms.

Who knows, maybe we are already doing this.

And there is no such thing as AI. A computer cannot think. Quantum computing may allow a machine to  ...

Agree

So much effort goes into creating the illusion of progress. The sad fact is that we are facing the destruction of the 3.5 billion year phenomenon of life within the next two centuries. Life required a planet with both an atmosphere and a magnetosphere to shield it from radiation. Ironically the most advanced life form which was the end result of evolution is in the process of making this little radiation free oasis radioactive like the rest of the universe and ending the existence of his species and all others. "Cell" phones, nuclear reactors, microwave ovens etc. Simultaneously the remnants of the forest cover are being destroyed.
9/11 was an inside job.
No second plane. It was a bomb.Bomb in the other building.
You KNOW without a doubt the videos are fake, right ?!
Planes don't meld into steel and concrete buildings. They crash into them !!!!!!!
It's amazing how the building ate the plane !!!
Imagine those fragile wings cutting slots in massive steel columns !!!!!
How STUPID can they think the people are to believe that crap ??!!
