Sometimes I wonder how many Americans know how many of the things they buy are made in China.
Maybe they would appreciate China more if prices sky rocket when they go to Wal-Mart.
The bright side of things is that China is #1 in tourism (inbound and outbound), so more and more people can experience the culture.
This in turn would build more tolerance and understanding.
There is also a movement in American politics toward socialism.

More and more millennials are becoming socialists.

Can anyone explain China's middle class is larger than the population of the US?

Things in China are getting better.
Less poverty and a growing middle class.
The same can not be said about America.
Growing homelessness and a shrinking middle class.
In China, the political system is "stream lined" which makes it easier to get important things done.
America's political system has been taken over by the wealthy.
So much has changed in the last decade.
