Making China and its neighboring countries, in particular Central and East Asians a paradise with nature, forest, rivers, lakes, of course the clean sea (for those with seaside) and plantation is a logical good thing to do.

This not only gives the people a good place to belong to, it strengthens their desire to want to belong to. By facilitating their "want" it fosters education in them in such a way that promotes the meeting of minds easier though diversity will remain (as long as human exist) and ought to be preserved for creativity.

An excellent natural healthy environment fostering healthy living leading to good personal health is something when blended with dynamic technology growth and manufacturing prowess provide a good formula for humanity going forward. This combination reduces the government's cost to maintain the society in many different ways. Even many western countries while they possess beautiful infrastructure and architecture, they are not well positioned to foster this type of livelihood. For one, TCM is a well being mechanism that runs along this philosophy for many centuries. Exercises like Qi gong and Tai Chi are also good healthy practises while exercises like line-dancing provides modernity.

Hence China ought to continue to foster strong sense of greening its landscape. Encourage the people to venture into afforestation, agriculture and aquaculture industries. This is by no means abandoning modernity. Biologically driven industries cannot exist without these industries. And the downstream businesses of these industries cannot do without manufacturing. All these will not stifle but will make even stronger demand for engineering needs. The quest for engineering and technological prowess should not reduce the livelihood quality. In fact it should demand more quality livelihood.

The only thing that really needs to be rein is property development. It makes livelihood more expansive, therefore higher social cost. This creates more governing problem as more wealth is needed to sustain impracticable living demands. Less land should be earmarked for development and development - sometimes turning into ghost cities that are costly to maintain and yet reduces the quality of life and availability of land to generate crops for living.
