This article is dual edged. While China is pointing out what the Western societies do to limit Chinese influences, there are equal reciprocal actions being taken by China to limit Western influence in China.
China has limits on the number of foreign films it allows to be shown in China every year. This is explicitly to minimize the allure of western culture into China.  Business that wants to start in China need a Chinese business partner who has controlling interest before being allowed to operate in China. Small business may be exempt from this. On many levels China restricts, denies and controls anything Western inside its boarders, but when Western countries do that its "Chinese bias".

The wind blows both ways and depending which side of the fence you are on, will effect which view you hold. Countries with single party systems or dictatorships are rarely seen as positive in the democratic nations of the world. While Democracies have their issues, the citizens are usually free to live their lives and say whats on their minds without fear of "re-education camps" or disappearing all together.

Anyone who doesn't see this has never lived in the US and China.

America's "soft power" is flaccid indeed.

Now they resort to paying western propagandists to post in the China Daily expat forum.
