Racist whites do this everywhere. This problem is not limited to ChinaDaily. They post their racist  ...

It's not just whites that are racist. Anybody can be racist no matter what color you are. Why not judge people as individuals first and then let them prove otherwise. Works for me.

Hollywood is a western institution. It is the creator of Black face, yellow face, white washing, and stealing Asian roles. It constantly insults Asians with thinly veiled hate speech and hires minstrels like Ken Jeong.

But, ya,

"white people are unique".

"Everyone can be racist"

even though they use one of the biggest media empires on earth to spread racist stereotypes and hate speech.

Almost a third of young people experienced unfair treatment or discrimination based on their race in the last year, Mission Australia's youth survey has revealed.

A total 22,000 young people aged between 15 and 19 from across the country completed the survey, with 4,000 teenagers saying they spoke a language other than English at home — the most common being Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic.

When broken down, the survey showed Mandarin-speaking young people experienced the highest rates of racial discrimination, at 90 per cent.

About 80 per cent of Cantonese and Filipino young people reported unfair treatment based on their race.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people were almost twice as likely to report having experienced racial discrimination than their non-Indigenous peers.

Steven Chen says: "I've experienced racial slurs, mainly back in high school ... Racism is definitely a thing in Australia, I don't think there's any point in denying it"

but no guys, white people are special snowflakes even when 90% of Chinese suffer racism from white people. You see, you must judge each one. Remember those Nazis? Not all of them were genocidal racists. You need to judge each one separately according to the philosopher kings above.

• respondents had experienced a range of offensive and insulting behaviour; verbal abuse was most frequently mentioned followed by damage to business property and to vehicles;

• 26 individuals mentioned physical attacks, some causing serious injury requiring hospital treatment;

• repeat victimisation was a problem with more than one third experiencing more than three incidents  Repeats were particularly concentrated in some urban centres;

• twice as many respondents had experienced incidents at work as at home  However victimisation on the street was nearly as frequent as at work;

• the majority saw perpetrators as white and more than half as young people;

Ninety per cent of respondents said they had lost confidence in the police.

Respondents also felt that most other organisations to which they turned for help – including schools, local authorities, voluntary agencies such as Victim Support and advice centres – failed to accept the seriousness of the
complaints brought to them

guess who runs those institutions? special snowflake white people. Ohhhh but you can't judge them. each one is a unique individual even if they're ALL working hand in hand to attack Chinese people and protect themselves from prosecution.

There's that famous Western liberal tolerance again.

France's ethnic Chinese population have long suffered casual racism and been stereotyped as easy targets for crime. But they say they have now reached breaking point.

at least 15,000 ethnic Chinese turned out in Paris's Place de la Republique to give vent to their deep feelings of insecurity. Estimated at more than 600,000 people, France has Europe's largest Chinese community.

ethnic Chinese shopkeepers and residents of Aubervilliers said they felt that the level of violence was getting worse.

The anger of people like Franky and Heng is mostly directed towards the state, which they say has failed to protect them.

hmmmmmmm...who runs the state? ohhh right. benevolent super duper understanding white people who care sooo deeply about human rights...unless they're the wrong skin color.

any time the state fails to protect's just an "isolated incident"... we need to judge the state's tens of thousands of employees on a "case by case" basis.

I hope our Asian readers are getting the big picture here.
