A post in Hupu Forum sparks debate criticizing the stereotype of Chinese and foreigners: Since there always a stereotype between foreigners and Chinese that foreigners never run the red traffic light, never throw rubbish everwhere, never spit, they're clean, polite, gentle, while Chinese tend to be the opposite especially that "Chinese always cross the red light". However, today I saw a  foreigner running the red traffic light without looking both way, while a swarm of Chinese still stoppedd there.
Most netizens outraged about the stereotype as the poster does and shared their experience both in China and abroad about foreigners run the red light, but some comments still stick to this stereotype like "this foreign did so because he acts accordingly"; or "westerners observe law and discipline because they have a sound legal system, but they’re free from law in China so they can release themselves." ( bullshit!)
Being a citizen of a nation is never a choice, the most common is that we are all humanbeings, and what we do mostly depends on ourselves. You can judge a person from what he or she has done, but never define a country easily.

I am sorry to disagree with you: Chinese are a nation of law-scoffs. This is not a stereotype. It is ...

It’s ok you disagree.

first im Sorry i dont know what “law-scoff” means.

The stereotype that a Chinese do certain things wrong people would think that’s because he or she's a Chinese, but once a foreigner-like person do the same thing, people would find excuses for him or her, two standards are unfair. I think every kinds of people live in the world, what they have done mostly represent themselves.

Contrast Chinese and foreigners because i disagree with the stereotype that Chinese are not the same as foreigners and i need to make it clear, plus, i wouldn't and i would never judge foreign countries because i see what foreigners have done,it doesn't make sense, and i didnt mean to divide this world to China and the other, i just want to make my point here clear: if one did wrong thing, then no matter he or she chinese or not, he or she did wrong. there shouldn't be two standards. Also i mentioned that no matter where a person come from, we should treat them all the same. finally, i'm a Chinese, the last thing i would like to see is that my country is misunderstood by some chinese, i cant represent china and do do them.

If the word foreiner i said offended you, then i apologize, can’t come up with other words.

You earn your 'popularity' by constantly & maliciously blackmailing & tarnishing Chinese people & tr ...

Got to disagree with you. On this occasion I got to agree with him, Chinese people have earned themselves a very bad reputation for breaking their nation's laws, rules and regulations,  often with serious consequences for themselves and often for others, such as driving through red lights, smoking right under the no-smoking sign, getting out of their cars in the safari park and got badly mauled by tigers, etc etc! Whats even worse is that they carry their bad behavior abroaf and break other nation's rules, making a nuisance of themselves and bringing shame to their motherland China!
