China firmly opposes and is strongly dissatisfied with a Japanese defense white paper that is "full of lies", Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian said on Tuesday.
The report, approved by the Japanese Cabinet, plays up the South China Sea and East China Sea issues in a groundless manner and attempts to stir up trouble behind the scenes, from which Japan seeks to benefit, Wu said.
He accused Japan of ...

Its a media battle between Japan and China. It spills over to Russia, Korea and neighboring countries. The first thing China has to do is to develop a few media networks that have global reach and followings. The following is important. In particular Chinese news must reach Russia, England, Germany, France, North East Asia (including common Japanese), Asean, Central Asia, North America and Australia-New Zealand. These media vehicles must possess an independent objective to groom the followings. China shouldn't fear because if China's objective is towards morality and accountability, the political, economic and social environment will fall in line with such credentials. Although its a lonely crusade, China must learn and then lead here to build a standard global news and information infrastructure for a borderless world.

As for Japan, their analysis had always been flawed. Since WWII they have taken a wrong approaches. They thought that by killing they will successfully strike fear into others and cow them into obeying Japanese. Here they have unintelligently revealed brutal and uncivilized human side to be precise. Their vision in pursuit of inhuman mastery led them to disregard other humanity and culture. This again is seriously flawed because inevitably Japan's culture clashed with others. In truth while one may be awed by their achievements no one wants to be like them. Simply there are 98% of other things in life that matters and don't require Japanese features at all. If we look around the world, many Asians have subscribed to the English culture and they found success which they were extremely happy with. It is ok to learn from others. It is only by embracing others' success and realising one's virtues, harmonizing them that one becomes successful. And this is seen in the likes of Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. Japanese leaders have never dared to embrace even their faults as human. In finance, the Yen have been intentionally and systematically devalued which everyone knows but of course behind the scene deals with US prevented Japan from being named "Currency Manipulator". Even with this unfair economic advantage, Japan still failed with its widely publicised 3 Arrows Economy. It needs to shoot another 3 Arrows it seems. It is also scaling back on its Olympic promises it seems. Japan is no more virtuous or credible than Korea, China or Vietnam. You have Japanese top companies committing fraudulent reporting to con the world just like elsewhere. No one is perfect. Countries like China and Korea even US do not pretend to be Godly good or purity. But the joke is Japan's Defence White Paper tried projecting it like Asia's Moral God!? Can one take Japan seriously??? I think everyone is laughing at Japan's Defence ministry - all they know is to paint China black even with untruths. This is no new psychology. What Japan's leadership trying to achieve is make itself a good pet under US and hopefully MANUFACTURE TRUTH OUT FROM UNTRUTHS. With a society like Japan, it is better not to be associated with people and things Japan more so don't invest in Japan. Its assets are suspects, not globally marketable and the Yen is probably significantly flawed systematically. Where do you want to go from Japan. No where. Its a dead end but with enemies in Russia and China and is controlled by US. Might as well invest in US and one gets control over Japan from US. So why invest in Japan?

Japanese head judge appointed 4 select Japanese sympathy pals for this arbitration case bu t the biggest party never showed. Japan has Yasakuni Shrine. It should be entered into UN treasure site along with the new Nazi Memorial to be set up in Poland - with all the leading cast at Auschwitz.

Akira Muto is one to remember. He was military attache to Germany for three years from 1923, Muto joined the Imperial Army General Staff Office and was head of military intelligence of the Kwangtung Army at the time of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident in 1937, an attack on Chinese forces widely seen as the starting point of Japan's second war against China.
Muto oversaw Japanese military operations across central China and was charged with leading troops during the worst excesses of the Nanjing Massacre.
He was director of military affairs at the time of the Pearl Harbour attack, and he later commanded troops on Sumatra and the Philippines, where he was subsequently accused of carrying out a campaign of slaughter and torture of Filipino civilians, prisoners of war and civilian internees.
He was executed in Tokyo on December 23, 1948. Today- a saint in Yasakuni shrine????
