This is one approach. But in the USA they simply make communism illegal. Look up "the communist control act of 1954".

If the Chinese government wants to know why the people of Hong Kong would want to explore a political system of
the west that outlaws oppostion they should do so. Then remind them of what westerners have brought to east
Asia over the past 200 years and ask why anyone should start to trust them now.

If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Now, what about where you live? Are you native there? Where will you live? Are going to answer the question or evade? China isn't an appropriate answer in this instance because you're not from there either.
