The billionaire investor George Soros declared “war” on China, claiming he had short sold Asian currencies. He also said a hard landing for the Chinese economy was “practically unavoidable”. Given his influence, the global financial market saw more severe fluctuations and Asian currencies are facing more speculative pressure. Will Soros succeed in shorting renminbi as he did for speculative attacks against Asian currencies during the 1997 Asian financial crisis and the British pound in 1992?

G. Soros knocked on China’s door 18 years ago and was defeated.
Would he dare to Try it again!
In 98 he got badly burned in this battlefield.
Soros, whose aggressive currency trades were blamed for destroying the Thai and Malaysian economies in the Asian financial crisis, turned his attention to attacking Hong Kong markets.
Hong Kong, backed by Beijing, faced him with an unprecedented HK$118 billion stock-buying support  to defend the currency peg in August 98 and sent billionaire George Soros packing.

In my opinion, he's forced to try it again.
His bosses rrun the show, not George.

However, again this is my opinion. Bosses and Mr. Soros will walk away with a bleeding noise.

Think why G.Soro said he will crash yuan?  and he never declared that he will attack Thai, Malaysia and HK market at 98.

What is his intention now OPENLY declare to do so??? He and his behind group afraid yuan depreciation??

hard landing for the Chinese economy was “practically unavoidable”.  HE KNEW CHINA MARKET HUGE,  WILL NOT HARD LANDING DUE TO UNDEVELOP REGIONS AND HUGE POPULATION.

STUDY HIS INTENTION FIRST ??

His bosses run the show by pulling his strings.
