Kings these days are rarely in positions of power where they can order anyone to do anything outside of their employees.

Every dictatorship is corrupt, too. Moreso than democracies allow.

A dictatorship would be a good way to end corruption albeit that there is an excess of optimism in that suggestion. However, with power comes corruption and democracy seems to have legalised it whereas dictatorships rarely find the time to sanctify their excesses.
