“One belt, one road,” initiated by Chinese government in 2013, refers to the New Silk Road Economic Belt, which will link China with Europe through Central and Western Asia, and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, which will connect China with Southeast Asian countries, Africa and Europe.

Chinadaily.com.cn launches an articles and photos collection activity to invite our readers who live in these areas to introduce their hometowns. You may talk about the must-see places, food, customs, interesting historical stories and so on.

If you want to share your hometowns with the worldwide readers, please send your essays and photos( with one photo of yours in your hometown  or home city or home country) to blog@chinadaily.com.cn  Photo*: Better provide us your own photo taken in the local  landmark places  (2 or 3 photos better ).

Words limit: around 200 words , 300 at most

Time: from now until the end of June.

Both Chinese and foreigners are welcome. But foreigners could introduce their own countries while Chinese need to give a introduction about their cities or counties, not the whole country.

Well here's a pic of where I lived in London with my parents until I moved out after marriage at 19yrs old
