Maybe at that time ,the Crab was very very cheap 。。。。。。。。

Eating crab wasn't popular at that time, it was considered as the poor's food. Few ate it in town.

Great photos... My father was with the 10th USAAF, 3rd Combat Cargo Group during World War 2.  He was initially stationed in Dinjan, India and then Myitkyna, Burma. He was then stationed a brief time in Kunming after the Burma Road was reopened and the finally stationed in Shanghai, from August 1945 to January 1946.  His photo album contains a lot of pictures of the airbase and town of Shanghai.
