With Chinese lunar new year approaching, a total of 2.8 billion trips are expected to be made by Chinese people during the Spring Festival travel rush, according to the Ministry of Transport last Thursday. Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, which falls on Feb. 19, 2015, is China's most important family holiday. Hundreds of millions of people will head to their hometowns to meet with relatives and old friends during the festival.
