Should Taiwan be given a vote for independence?

Scotland and England, and Qubec and Canada each held referendum should they stay with their respective union or break away, both times Scotland decided to stay with England and Qubec decided to stay with Cananda. My question is this. Should China give Taiwan the vote and allow the Tiaiwan people to decide if they want to be their own country or be part of China, each time this vote has been held 100% of the time the decision has been to stay be an overwhelming percentage of the vote.

As to TW, its leader Ma has declared he wants to be status quo.

Why should only the Taiwanese have the right to decide? Taiwan belongs to China and to the entire Chinese people, and not just to the Taiwanese. The Mainlanders must then also be allowed to vote along with the Taiwanese.

vote will have to include the mainland

both China and Taiwan claiming to be the same thing, that is China
so both have to decide together.

The Scots got the right to decide without the English and the people from the French speaking provance of Qubec got to decide without the rest of Canada, why can't'  the people from Taiwan decide their future without the rest of China?
