Poor students

In the early morening we can often see students of high schools go to their schools, either alone or carried by their parents in cars or on e-bikes. The winter morning makes the scene especial prominent, it is so cold and they have to do so.

Why are they made to do such hard thing? Is it necessary for them to be like that?

Now we have a wider enrolment for college students, and students could find a college suitable to his level without making too much efforts and many colleges are vying for students, fearing there are not enough population.

So the education bureaus of all secondary schools shall ease the regulations and give their students a relaxing schedule, like lessons starting at 8:30 and ending at 11:30 in the morning, at 3-4:30pm so that students can have leisure to enjoy themselves.

If there are people who want to go to Peking U or Tsinghua U, they can work harder, but not in the school time, they can do the same outside the school.

those are only students of cities, and they do not how to walk by feet and need their parents to take them. We did not do so many years ago. Teachers try to give as much as possible info to their students who cannot digest within short time. But when all people do the same, even a small matter becomes complicated.

Seldom do I visit this section of the forum, where there are so many interesting stories that can be shared with many other China Daily website visitors. However, the front page of the section seems to have been frozen, with some of the authors fixed there, leaving the impression that there is no change at all inside. So it is necessary for the admin to do something.
