I really should review my post before submitting. Here is a corrected version of the post with out the typing mistakes, from rushing.

I do not believe in totality - but I do believe some tribes lived more in harmony with nature than others.  I attended an Algonquin Sunrise Ceremony in Algonquin Park about 7 years ago.  In that ceremony they were teaching the people the importance of harmonizing with nature.  Their lesson was to use what you need no more no less.  I admit I would be naive to believe all people obeyed that spirit but it is a good start.
